Earlier start for B / C Finals

With the goal to prevent as much as possible heat
problems, all the athletes on B and C finals on the
middle distance will have the option to start earlier,
from 7.30h to 8.15h.

Each athlete will have his official time in the starting
list but will be able to use the option to start between
7.30h and 8.15h, Competitors will start in the order in
which they present themselves at the start. They will
“punch” a timing device held by an official at the start
line, and this will start their race time. Competitors
must report to the start official by 8.10h at the latest.
After then, competitors must use their official
start list time.

The starts procedure will be as always, letting the
athletes start in arrival order, starting their race with
the start control.

Athletes of the A Finals cannot use this option and
must stay in the official starting list.
