The Girona-Costa Brava airport will offer 48 routes with fifteen European countries during the summer of 2025. This year, it incorporates five novelties: Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Lublin (Poland), Ostrava (Czech Republic), all three operated by Ryanair; Luton (UK), operated by Jet2, and Budapest (Hungary), operated by WizzAir. In total, the Girona airport will have seven companies or tour operators working there this summer: Ryanair, Jet2, WizzAir, Air Arabia, TUI Airlines, Transavia and SmartWings. The objective of the Generalitat is to reach 2.5 million face passengers by 2028.
The final schedule for this summer at the airport was announced this morning during the Connect Aviation fair, which is being held from today until Wednesday at the Palau de Fires de Girona. It is an event that brings together more than 800 managers of airlines, airports and tourism companies from all over the world. In total, there are representatives from 88 airlines and 189 airports. The fair has the support of the Girona County Council, the Generalitat and the Chamber of Commerce.
